Wreck it Wednesday and Exciting News!

Hey guys! Today is Wreck It Wednesday! Really and truly I am almost finished with my Wreck this Journal, but I will keep posting pages till I have shown all the pages! Enjoy!

This is one of my favorites because I loved Monsters Inc. as a small child and I also love the new Monsters University Movie and the googly eyes are just awesome!

This one is a make a paper airplane page and I put it in the page that you wrap some thing in it.
I also stuck another page that I ripped out in there. (Next picture)

This one I hit in my Aunt Eugenia's of next door neighbors flower garden. She wrote this little poem on it:

Oh whoa is me  for I have been left in a flower garden
Not up with the pretties but under a stone that has hardened

I was left alone for days and I began to shudder but
Soon I realized that it was better than being left in a gutter

One day I shall go home and join the others in the journal
You must do nothing but look for me internal

It thought that it was rather cute!

This one was just too cute of an idea to pass up I drew a little Pigpen and rubbed some dirt on the page.

This one is super cute if I can say so myself. I used a plastic fork to make the stripes and hot glued on a fork.

If you guys can remember my in my first blog post I was thinking about volunteering at a horse ranch that provides therapeutic horse lessons to mental and physically handicapped people of all ages. Well I went to orientation last night!! Me and my Mom will be volunteering for two days a week, I'll be learning grooming and how to lead the said horse. So YAY!! We will start on Tuesday next week!!

Until tomorrow!

I feel so super duper bad about not doing a post Monday, but I have no excuse. I will try my best to make this twice the awesomeness to give you a double dose of awesomeness.

Today it is super stressful I don't know if I told you but I am going to orientation for the Paradise Ranch tonight and gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! *instant replay* gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I am volunteering there and I have to go prove that I am awesome so that she can look over my awesome and see what awesome volunteer job she wants me doing.

I really stressin' I don't need to be but I stressin'! This scares me because this is what I have been wanting to do for a while and I am very uncomfortable with it coming NOW.  I just want it to stay in the "It's next month," zone.

On the bright side of things last night I went to a potluck a friends house to thank the people that where Counselors at the camp/retreat I went to last Sunday.  Mr. Nate the friend of ours that was hosting the potluck made this epic steak! It is amazing with loads of salt and pepper sliced thinly straight off the grill, so juicy and yummy so awesome!

I am at a loss for content. I can't find anything that I want to write out. I tried for a card tutorial but that failed big time! The pictures got scattered on my inbox when I emailed them from my phone to my computer so I was opening all these emails trying to make them all in order but the steps where so mixed up! That is why there was a absence of a post yesterday. I'm going to try for a good tutorial, it may come later this week because of the messy inbox. I want to take the tutorial slowly download and write the draft a little every day make thinks more relaxed. I will take the pictures today and follow through on Friday of Thursday depends how much time I have to work on Wreck it Wednesday. Right now I will just think over some awesome and shovel out the craft supplies!

Until next time!

(Maybe it will be more fun to read next time!)

Today is Friday, I slept in for another hour today, my Aunt canceled walking for this morning, she had to run errands before she had to go to work. It was nice sleeping in the extra hour!

I have really been wanting a cold bottle of Cheerwine lately, so I wanted to do a post about it. Because the last time I posted about something I wanted I got it. So here are all the facts I could find about good old Cheerwine! If you don't know what Cheerwine is it is Cheerwine is a cherry-flavored soft drink produced by the Carolina Beverage Corporation of Salisbury, North Carolina. It has been produced since 1917.

When Kentucky's Maysville Syrup Company went bankrupt, L.D. Peeler bought the company and moved it to his hometown of Salisbury, NC. He renamed it the Carolina Beverage Corporation and continued making the popular Mint Cola.  In 1917, a traveling salesman from St. Louis sold the amped-up cherry flavor to the company founder, who had wanted to add a cherry soda to the Carolina Beverage Co.'s soda line-up to take advantage of the flavor's popularity. After a bit of tinkering, he landed on the Cheerwine recipe. By 1924, Cheerwine outsold Mint Cola, and the soda group's name was changed from Mint Cola Bottling Co. to Cheerwine Bottling Co.  Carolina Beverage Corp. and Cheerwine Bottling Co. are still owned by L.D. Peeler's family. When the patriarch passed away in 1931, L.D.'s son Clifford took over the company, and, today, Cliff Ritchie, Clifford Sr.'s grandson and the founder's great-grandson, helms the soda company.
The name actually comes from the drink's burgundy color and the cheerfulness drinkers experience after that first sip.
How intense is Cheerwine's carbonation? Ohio BBQ chain Old Carolina Barbecue Company tracked down old-fashioned soda fountains so they could serve Cheerwine, because the standard drink machines couldn't handle the carbonation.
While the other soda barons hit caffeine-lovers' lips in the 1800s -- a few decades before Cheerwine, the NC soda beat them to the cherry circuit. Cherry Coke and Wild Cherry Pepsi weren't actually sold in stores until the 1980s, while Cherry Dr. Pepper only arrived in the 2000s.
The first glass bottles and original labels with an adorable three-cherry design.
The delightfully sweet, Tar Heel State-bred soda's first nickname was born early on and for obvious reasons, but a redesign of the label created the second moniker. Originally, "Bottling Company" was printed beneath the Cheerwine name, but that's since been replaced with "Legend since 1917".\

In 1953, President Eisenhower was apparently so overcome with excitement at his first taste of the soda, he was reduced to the two-syllable exclamation, "Ike likes!", proving that talking about yourself in the third-person always makes you sound like a moron, even if you're the President!
Until tomorrow!

Yesterday, I was looking through my old tinker bell jewelry and found this adorable bracelet that my Aunt gave me when I was like seven. This bracelet is so tiny that it won't even reach around half of my wrist!

It is silver charm bracelet with pink flowers sliver fairies with lavender wings and a purple flower and little plastic raindrop gems.

My hand for scale.

It made me think of all the memories of me at the age of seven supporting the LEGIT FACT that fairies where REAL. My big sister, Amber, wrote me letters incognito and said that they from a fairy named Zina and hid them under a stone duck, in flower pots, or in trees.

I became obsessed and had Tinkerbell everything that had her face on it. Because that was the year that the First Tinkerbell Movie came out and Tinkerbell merchandise was the rage. I had jewelry boxes, perfumes, jewelry, nail polish, rings, bedspreads, pillow cases, toothbrushes, folders, coloring books, *inhale* art sets, I Can Read books, glass dolls, action figures, purses, all the movies, all the crayons with Tinkerbell on the wrapper, AND a membership to the official Tinkerbell website. At that time I also liked The Rainbow Magic series, it is still going there are all these random talent fairies and these girls that looked just like me and my best friend, there names are Kirsty, (the one that looks like me) and Rachel ( the on that looks like Reagan)

Compare,

Top is me as a little dwarf child and the bottom is my on birthday last year.

Oh the memories!

Until tomorrow!

I can't wait to show you this great art piece! It is awesome!!  There is so much to show you that I think I'll start typing up a draft today to make tomorrow so much easier. Plus the lighting outside is perfect for pictures, but it means that I have to repaint my nails so they don't look NASTY. There is all sorts of craft supplies on these nail there is finger, acrylic, and watercolor paints along with sharpie and marker. I get a bit messy you know, just a bit! One page that I do want to share ahead of time just to fire you up for Wreck it Wednesday. I have a  page that has a arrow on it and the words 'document  time passing' I drew all 12 Dr. Who faces and THEY. LOOK. AWESOME. I can't wait to show you this masterpiece! If you don't know what Dr.  Who is I will explain, Dr. who is a British science-fiction program produced by BBC between the dates of 1963 and present day. It is about a character called The Doctor a 'Time Lord' alien that saves universes from disaster speeding through time in a time machine called the TARDIS that is disguised as a blue telephone box The Doctor never dies but regenerates into another figure. There is 12 of the figures all of them just as crazy looking as the next feel free to look them up!

I'm Back!

I just came back yesterday (Sunday) evening from that Camp that I posted about on Friday. It was all about Romans 6:18 "Being then made free from sin, we became the slaves of righteousness."  We got those drawstring backpacks and tie dye tee shirts with the words on the front, Repeat After Me: I Am Free, and on the back, Repeat After Me: I Am A Slave.
The weekend we studied most all about getting rid of bondage. Also that we are free to do anything because by Jesus dying on the cross, he breaks our chains to the burden of sin.
But that we need to make the choice to go with Jesus, to follow close to Jesus. God could bind us behind Jesus, to be bound to follow him with no choice. But he gave us that right to choose to follow him freely.

I feel that it is very powerful to walk behind God with the faith that he will always help you along be the one that gives you the hiking boots to scale it and the belief that you can overcome it just as you will have faith that God will stay by you. There will still be a war, but God can be your shield and your victory.

This weekend the song that I felt that inspired the meaning of that message was Break Every Chain by Jesus Culture. It is such a powerful song and I would totally recommend you to listen to this!

Something that I want to add is that today, I got onto the computer to type this up and I plugged in my earphones and pulled up Pandora Internet Radio in a new tab but the song that came up on the Jesus Culture Radio was Break Every Chain.

Until Next Time!
