Felt Strawberries

It's Wednesday again and I decided to make a little felt strawberry. 

You will need:

Big eyed embroidery needles 

Lime green and red embroidery floss

Stuffing 

Red and green felt 

Scissors 

                                                   Draw a large letter D onto the red felt.

                                                                             Cut it out.

It should look something like this

Fold it like this and trim any excess felt

Pin the corner 

Thread a embroidery need with the red floss and whip stitch it 

(How to whip stitch

                                        When you have whip stitched the side remove the pin

   

Then turn inside out

       Thread needle with green thread.

Make large stitches this will represent the  seeds of the strawberry.

 

This is what the row of stitched will look like repeat till all of the strawberry has these on it.

 Fill it with the stuffing 

Now we need to close the opening in the strawberry. 

  Repeat making crosses and pulling hard after every stitch.

it will pucker and look like this.

Cut out a circle of felt it doesn't have to be perfect .

cut triangles out of it till it looks like this 

sew it on.

It's finished I will use it all a pin cushion but you can do plenty of other things with it. 

My cat was not thrilled with it as you can tell... :)

Gingerbread Mansion

I know that today is Tuesday but I just got the pictures of the ginger bread mansion last night and I wanted to not have to wait till you guys saw them!

Hey guys it's Monday once again and I hope that you have had a great weekend. I made a gingerbread mansion with my Aunts, Uncles, and cousins this weekend. as soon as I get a picture on my computer I will show it to you guys.

It is 18 days till the 25th of December. I can't wait for the festivities to begin! The Holidays have come too early this year and net thing you know it will be 2015! I hope that all of y'all are all set for Christmas because I know I'm not!

Hi guys I  don't have a plan for today so I just decided to just talk to you guys it's been a while. Today I counted my money and I had enough to buy a new kindle.

Last winter I tripped in my room and hit the screen on my heater. It internally shattered my screen.  These irritating tender screened gadgets!


It totally stinks, but hey!

  So I ordered a new one from Walmart  so it can get delivered to my house.  Usually I send it to a store near me because the shipping is free but Walmart is doing a Cyber Week special where everything over $50 has free shipping so I was like, why not?????? I also didn't have to pay tax and it was two bucks off so triple score!!! I think I might take pictures of the opening process. For you guys and anyone interested in the product. It should be coming in about 10 days.

I hope every thing has been good with you guys it has been so rainy today! Finally the sun poked out of the clouds! The warmth of the sun makes everyday a happier day! Hi guys, it's the first of December if you can even comprehend that, going straight to the point today will be full of pictures! I have been meaning to do a post like this and today seems perfect!

First off I want to announce that on Mondays and Fridays till the twenty-fifth of December I will post a picture of my kitten in her new Christmas Elf costume! It is also a plus that I was able to buy this costume for the sale price of three dollars at Target. I think it's worth it whether she hates it or not! :D And in honor of the first Monday;

Me and Rigby have been doing loads together since it's gotten colder! 

 For example here we are playing a Nancy Drew Games, We played the Curse of Blackmoor Manor, And if you don't know, Nancy Drew Games are  first-person perspective, point-and-click adventure games. The player as a Amateur Detective Nancy Drew and has to solve a mystery. Explore environments for clues, interrogate suspects, and solve puzzles and mini-games.

There are 31 different games at this point one of my favorites is The tomb of the lost Queen Here is the game trailer, it kind of explains what you do in Nancy Drew games.                                                                                                             

Anyway she's been laying on my arm while I play them. She is an amazing arm warmer! 

I don't know if you guys have seen updated picture of my nephew so here you go!

Happy thanksgiving!

Hey guys I hope you have had a great Thanksgiving! I really enjoyed being with family and eating  WAY too much food. It is crazy to think of how much changes in a year and Thanksgiving and Christmas are times when you realize that. Just a few Thanksgivings ago my sister was bringing he high school boyfriend to Thanksgiving and now they are married and have the first baby in our family for the past 13 years.
 Sometimes I just wonder what will be happening next year who else will end up at Christmas and Thanksgiving. I kind of have an answer for that. But at the same time I don't. If you don't know my sister is engaged to a US. Marine. She is going to be married off in April and moving to where he is based AKA not in this state. If is hard seeing my partner in crime leave me all alone by myself with Mom and Dad :(  I will be totally boring without someone to annoy! UGH!

 But I still have my cats... LOL anyways I hope you will have a great weekend full of random awesomeness! Until later!
