Wreck It Wednesday #2

Today is Wednesday if you haven't noticed and today I will be doing another post on my new Wreck This Journal. I have done so much that it is hard to just pick a few! Anyways!

This is the; Tear Strips Rip It Up page
I wanted to do a page that is book related this is how I decided to do it I drew the spines of my favorite books

 The book are:
The Clue in The Old Album (Carolyn Keene), The Hunger Games (Suzanne Collins), Green Eggs and Ham (Dr. Suess), Divergent (Veronica Roth), The BFG (Ronald Dahl).

This is the; Poke Holes In This Page Using A Pencil page.

^^ That page is the back of the coffee page
it is not dirt, but with this book no telling!

This is the; Pour, Spill, Fling, Your Coffee HERE page

This is the Fill This Page With Circles page
That took FOREVER!

I didn't know how to decorate this page so I thought of what you couldn't hold with out your hands so I did snow cones on the page.

This is the Do a Really Ugly Drawing (Use Ugly Subject matter such as Gum, Poo, Dead Things, a Badly Drawn Bird, Mold, Barf, Crud.)
I didn't really want to make this page nasty like in the past Wreck This Journal I did I wanted to make it a little cooler.
So I decided to narrow it down to two things, I did Barf and Crud. I did this Gravity Falls page because of the first show, Tourist Trapped. When Dipper and Mabel Pines arrive to spend the summer break at the remote town Gravity Falls with they're Gruncle (Great Uncle) Stan.
Mabel's new Boyfriend turns out to be a bunch of gnomes, so her brother Dipper has to come rescue her from being a gnome queen. Long story short one of the gnomes ends up barfing a rainbow.

I hope everyone enjoyed today's post, Until Later!

8 Things That They Didn't Tell You About Learning a Musical Instrument

  • Playing a string instrument? Calluses. You will never feel a thing with your fingertips ever again, except pain. There will be pain.

  • If you don't practice 15 minutes or more daily you can and will sound like a dying cow. Not majestic. Just not majestic.

DISHONOR ON YOU DISHONOR ON YOUR COW!

  • You won't be an instant prodigy. Yeah, I know we aren't a pack of instant noodles but this is what I thought though. I though I would go from Mary Had a Little Lamb to Eleanor Rigby in two days.

  • That reading music is like a whole other language! My burritos are still falling apart!

  • Scales are NOT fun at all, but they are totally necessary. Just tough through it. If Mittens here can do it so can you!

  • There will always be someone that its better at you at instrument it happens, you just have to move on you will get there if you practice hard enough.

  • So many rules, too many rules.(These rules are from a 1892 Issue of The Strad)

Violin Don’ts
By George Brayley
Don’t let the rosin accumulate on your violin, as there is no tone in rosin; it stops up the pores of the wood, and, moreover, looks slovenly.
Don’t put the bow away in the case without unloosening the hair. If it is kept tightened, it will soon be useless.
Don’t hang your violin on your music-stand when you have finished playing a piece, as it is liable to fall

Don’t let the rosin accumulate on your violin, as there is no tone in rosin; it stops up the pores of the wood, and, moreover, looks slovenly.
Don’t put the bow away in the case without unloosening the hair. If it is kept tightened, it will soon be useless.
Don’t hang your violin on your music-stand when you have finished playing a piece, as it is liable to fall and be broken.
Don’t break the hair off of your bow when one breaks; cut it at each end. You are liable to pull the hair out of the bow if you pull it to break it.
Don’t try to play in public what you cannot do well at home.
Don’t let the D string remain on your violin too long; remove it at least every two months, as it gets dry and hard, making the tone rough.
Don’t keep turning the pegs in tuning till the bridge falls down. Stop and look across the violin to see if it is straight. When the bridge falls it is liable to break.
Don’t let the neck of your violin hang down when you are playing and lay your head on it. It looks as if you were going to sleep. Hold the violin up.
Don’t let jealousy arise in the orchestra, and talk about one another behind their backs. It will soon demoralize the whole organisation.
Don’t write to the editor of a musical paper, or any one, asking the value of a violin that has a label on the inside with an old name and date printed on it, as he can tell nothing about it. A violin is valued for its tone and workmanship, and those labels are printed the same as circulars and pasted in the violin, to suggest that the instrument was made after the model of that maker. The genuine instruments are a rarity and their existence and whereabouts are generally known to connoisseurs.
Don’t put your violin away without wiping it dry all over with a cloth or chamois skin, as it preserves the instrument and saves strings. Don’t lay your violin down on its side by your chair during intermission of playing. Someone, not seeing it, may, in walking about, kick it to pieces. Better hold it, or put it in its case, which you can have near you.
Don’t let your music get all scattered and torn, when you can get at a store brown wrapping-paper to cover it. Music costs money.
Don’t get impatient with a pupil in giving a lesson. Remember you were not able to do much better yourself once.
Don’t have your strings of unequal size – the D string very large and the E string small. Get them of average size throughout by a string gauge, and when you have them right, keep them so. If you have no string gauge, save a piece of old string for your guide.
Don’t think you know all there is about the violin, for that height has never been reached yet.
Don’t stamp on the floor with your foot to keep the time; it is a disagreeable noise. Moving the right foot in your boot will answer all the purpose.
Don’t spit on the pegs of your violin to make them stick. Rub some chalk on them. If they are fitted and still slip badly, put a little rosin on them.
Don’t let any of the strings down when you are done playing, as it puts the violin out of order, and you break strings quicker.
Don’t think any kind of playing will do for some people, for your carelessness will soon be found out, engagements will be lost, and you will wonder why. Do your best at all times.
Don’t wind your strings around the neck of your violin; cut them the right length, and put the portions not wanted in a box in your case. They dry up quickly when exposed.
Don’t come to rehearsal at quarter-past eight, when eight o’clock is the hour given, unless a very satisfactory reason is shown. Be prompt, and people will learn to depend on you.
Don’t put a good violin in a damp place, as it will hurt it very much, and is apt to come unglued.
Don’t keep constantly shifting the bridge and sound post, when they have been put in their place properly. The slightest change makes a difference in the tone of the violin.
Don’t let your violin lie around on tables and other places, as it shows carelessness. Put it away in its case when you are done with it.
Don’t think you can neglect exercises and play the violin well; their study enables you to master your instrument.

  • Is way too easy to give up. Wayyyyyyyyy too easy to give up

But you know what, playing an instrument is a awesome commitment. And makes hours of entertainment and it is proven that it increases the capacity of you memory!
Also learning to play an instrument help you learn time management and organization skills. It also enhances your coordination and mathematical ability. And helps sharpen concentration, discipline, listening skills and just give you an over all sense of achievement. Also the breathing exercises you do when playing certain instruments can help respiratory problems.

I hope that you guys enjoyed today's post. Until Later!

Wreck it Wednesday #1

Hey guys, I hope that you had a good weekend! Today I am going to go back into Wreck it Wednesday. This is a super fun project and every page is just GOLD STAR!

This first page I started a rainbow and colored in the words.

continued rainbow,

A little more rainbow, and yes that is crayon because I am three.

A rainbow and a fat unicorn.

Continue rainbow and add you own page numbers I drew a bunch of numbers and numbered the pages

It says Crack The Spine, I did that and drew these tree branch like cracks, The other one is leave this page blank of purpuse but that is a no can do thing in my book so, I wrote Nope, sorry in the corner of the page.

Draw fat lines and thin.

Stand here wipe your feet fingers jump up and down. I had plans with the finger prints page so I just made this a finger prints page I got my finger print, my cats, my sisters and my Mom and Dad's

This is what I did with the finger print one I drew the old mans house from the movie Up and use my fingerprints to create the balloons I love this page.

This one is so far my absolute favorite! It is the color this entire page page. I LOVE THIS PAGE SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has a bending rainbow with the word AWESOME come of the side with checkered pattern behind. It has a city with the Batman Symbol peeking out behind it. It has some curly oceany things coming out of the base of the rainbow and going into a little group of clouds with the cutest faces. Then there is another fat unicorn shooting a rainbow out its horn. If someone asks you to define me show them this picture.

Thank you guys for reading I hope that you have a great Wednesday! Until Later!

Hey guys!

Hey guys, I have nothing for today, but I just wanted to tell you guys that i did buy a Wreck This Journal to do with you guys. BUT it is not the Wreck This Journal Everywhere, t is the Original. I found it on sell, Wreck this Journal original that was cheaper than the WTJ Everywhere by four bucks and I had to buy it instead because my wallet would be thoroughly deprived of money. Plus it was a better deal all together. Because the WTJ Everywhere has a hundred less pages and I was paying MORE. I couldn't handle doing that so, we are redoing the Original WTJ I am planning to do more pictures of the all together project. So you guys can running around throwing pages down hills and out of trees and possibly floating it in the creek... I hope you guys have a great Weekend.  Until later!

By the way you guys I am planing to give my readers a name, I'm thinking something like, Skittles or Purritos something goofy like that... Until Monday!

Hey guys let's pretend that it is Monday I would like to restart the Wreck it Wednesday, if all is in favor.

The author of the Wreck This Journal, Keri Smith has make a follow up to the original Wreck this, it is called the Wreck This Journal Everywhere.

It is a niftier size for sliding in a pocket or stuffing into a bag and the pages are personalized to be easy to wreck on the go. It features new activities as well as some of the most popular ones from the original.

I want to do Wreck this Wednesday again, but I want you guys to feel more involved, so I will be taking more pictures of my doings with the journal. So you guys can be more apart of Wreck it Wednesdays.
I am not exactly sure when I will start this series but I just wanted to know what you guys thought. Do you guys want to continue the Wreck It Wednesday?  Comment down below!
