My Best Friend!

Today I am with the awesomest person ever, my bestie, Reagan! We have known each other for literally forever and our parents knew each other even before we were in our Mothers bellies. Here is a picture of this beautiful girl!!

She has four brothers and five sisters and the coolest parents ever. I am so blessed to know, let alone spend time with this amazing daughter of Christ.

And we decided to do a post about all the freakishly AMAZING memories we had together.

To start off, I would say that my earliest memories with my BFF would be when we where around five or six. I remember playing dress up and holding the new baby at that time. Her name is Jessie.

Other memories are watching Barbie movies on Spiderman fold out couches. And awkwardly dancing to Disney music, to my embarrassment and to Reagan's great amusement, I danced with her brother Luke. *shudder*

Not to mention the missing thumb nail from Reagan's left hand. That was an exciting day..!

We always have watched movies on they're movie projector in the downstairs of their three story house. It was always a happy memory, eating ice cream, popcorn and candy.

And just last year by my house, we where doing a photo shoot with my photographer sister, Amber. We where walking to the other side of the creek when, Reagan started to do the splits in the cold November creek water. Reagan was screaming "I'M SLIPPING, I'M SLIPPING.... I have slipped." Amber was laughing at her and I was trying to help her up without falling in myself. And then when we succeeded in getting to dry land,  I asked the stupid question "Are your pants wet?"

We will concluded this blog with a goodbye and us really wanting to go to bed. I LOVE CAT'S!!!

I picked this one.

Me and Reagan picked this.

Reagan picked this, she is obsessed with grumpy cats!

This is one  Reagan's little sister Olivia picked with the exclamation "A CAT DID THAT!"

Shopping, shopping, and shopping!

Yesterday, me and my delightful Mother went thrift store shopping. I put on my jeans from last year to wear to a friends house and discovered that they were at least and inch above the ankle because of a resent growth spirt so we desided to go cloths shopping. We got a $247 dollar value for 12 dollars! HAlf the half the stuff was barely used espensive brands. Be impressed. We both have a nack for finding great deals at stores thift of not! We went to three differant thrift stores in three differant neighborhoods. We went chinese food and just had a great time and it was wonderful spending the day with the lovelyest lady on earth!

Until tomorrow.

Wimon

For a few months now we have been sponsoring a child from Compassion International, Compassion International is a Christian child sponsorship organization dedicated to the long-term development of children living in poverty around the world.

The child we sponsor is in 4th grade, Her name is Wimon pronounced 'why--mon'. She lives in Thailand, with her Mom, Dad and little siblings.

Yesterday, I received a letter from Wimon. As you would think, I was ecstatic, I only receive a letter from her every few months, because how many people it has to go through, From Wimon, to the people who mail it once a month, take it to a mail box that ships it to translation and writing it out and remailing it making it through to my mail box and it takes me several days to actually GET the mail out of the mailbox. So around a month or two before I get a letter.

Anyways, I was reading this sweet letter, She was excitedly telling me how she could read my letters and that she was so happy when she got to write back to mine. She told me how she loved to go to school everyday and that all of her friends were also excited and happy for that school term. She used the words, 'I am very happy that I can study'. She then told me that she was excited that she was progressing in school like she was.

Those words might be simple and you might think nothing of it, but as soon as I read those words I thought of 16.4 million children in USA that dread the thought of school, they hate their teachers and think nothing of the children that don't even have the privilege of even learning how to read and write let alone what all these children and teens do every day dreading every minute.

We are a narrow minded people as Americans freedom has made us shallow and unthinking. Keep this in mind this week. I'm not telling to feel miserable all week, but to appreciate your advantages and if you want to go this far, support a kid like Wimon so that their life can be successful and they can move forward to accomplish crazy awesome goals and be ahead in life.  On a less serious note, Wimon drew me this lovely landscape and I would love to share it with you!

I charish these sweet little masterpeices! She sends them with every letter and I always sit there for a few moments thinking of her drawing this little landscape it warms my heart thinking of her pencils swiping across the back of her letters and drawing those little yellow and pink flowers and bright sun!

My Baby Nephew!!!

Last month on the 3rd of June, my eldest sister, Ashlea, gave birth to a precious healthy little boy named Gabriel Allen! He is the first baby in our family for about about thirteen years and everyone has become quite the baby hogs! Everyone has been stealing kisses from his his little cheeks and tickling his little slightly plump belly and teeny tiny little feet trying to pry from him one of his precious little smiles!

This little guys has been such a blessing to my whole family I can't imagine a family gathering with out this little squirt anymore. Even though he his still a little baby, he is growing fast and changing everyday!

Longs story short, I love this little stinker, he is the sweetest and is going to be spoiled rotten!  I wouldn't trade him for a thousand purring kittens, not in a thousand years!

Origami Fish

Here is this cute little tutorial about this epic little Origami Fish, enjoy!

First get a 6x6 piece of Origami paper, ( you can use what ever kind of thin paper you like as long as it is a perfect square.)

Flip paper so that the white shows up, if you are using regular printing paper you don't have to flip.

Turn paper till it looks like a diamond, take the bottom corner to meet the top one and fold, keep folded.

Next fold the half triangle in half  from left corner to right corner then unfold.

Take the bottom of the little paper triangle and fold up to create a flat paper hat/paper boat looking thingie.

Unfold then fold this little bottom flap thingy in half then fold one more time. Making the brim on this flat paper hat slender.  (Sorry for the blurry picture but you get the idea...)

Turn upside down. (in picture it is side ways but it works better upside down

Then fold so the the bottom brim thingie facing inside will be aligned with the crease in the center of the
triangle, like this. (Random picture alert...)

Flip the fish in progress. Do the same on this side

This is the result.

Take the lower back fin thingy and pull it in front of the top fin thingy. This will lock the fins.

See the slender little fold that you can lift slightly? Fold the tip of your triangle to the corner of the slot.

Then insert the corner of triangle pointed at the slot, into the corner of the slot.

Turn your fish the right side up and cut its mouth and draw on eyes.

All done!

Until later.

Weekends and Kids Cartoons

Well then it is Friday,

An I would like to share an adorable baby turtle appreciating the lazy weekend. Some people are productive on weekend and are all like, 'The weekend is a delightful time to clean, shop, do left over home work from Friday night and actually use the free time I have to improve the life style I have the rest of the week.'

For me the weekend is definition, couch potato. As soon as the weekend crosses over I all the sudden have given up on everything. I just sit on the couch eating enough chips to turn me INTO a chip and watching Dr. Who. I know all you Whovians (Dr. Who fans) know whats up.

The weekend is also sad because as a kid the only Cartoons on PBS (before Cubo showed up)
were in the morning, at like 8:00 in the morning. I mean who want to get up at 8:00 on a Saturday?! So i'd always get onto the old desk top and watch old shows on the PBS kids then just play Martha Speaks Games when Martha Speaks JUST came out. Weekends were full of woes as a kid! :)

I also hated that one of the cooler PBS Kid Shows came on at five-thirty, right at dinner time! My like FAVE, which I think was discontinued, was Maya and Migual. I don't know why, but that was my fave maybe it was that weird blinky lighty ponytail holder... And randomly yelling  SOS!!!!!!!!! I don't know...

Until later.

STRESS

This,

and this

Are examples of how I react under stress, can I get an, amen? On my math program they have BOSS LEVELS. YOU HAVE TO ENTER THE ANSWER IN A LIMITED TIME AND YOUR FINGERS ARE TRIPPIN' OVER EACH OTHER AND IT'S STRESSFUL!

So I'll be like,

 2+2= Mount Rushmore

True or false do flowers have stems?  56

I legit forget what I was thinking as soon as someone looks at me. Animation or not! I mean as soon as that animated ogre looks at my little alien avatar person, I start freaking out not to mention that the boss level ogre is like 16 feet tall. I mean do you want me to pee my pants?

Seriously that thing freaks me the math out! Not to mention my kitties sit all over keyboard making me loose valuable brain scrambling time. m        ujyyyyyy Like that right there <-- that's Rigbie feel feeling the need to catwalk right over my keyboard. And shes coming back! hgrtyui0- That's why it takes me several hours to do my Math. Yeah.

OOO OOO and I'll be going to a retreat thingy soon, with a church I go to on Wenesdays. So that's happening. I made another Koi pond that I put on the bottom of my blog page. Check that out... until next time...
