Mocha Madness

.

It's been a really long time since I showed you one of my old stories, this one was actually made to go on to my sisters blog in like 2010. It is called Mocha Madness, It is inspired by the evil looking teddy bear, Mocha, that my sister got for Valentines Day that year. The cast is completely made up of our stuff animals and barbies.

CHAPTER ONE

Pinki Sara sat on the bed of Autumn who was reading a slim yellow and blue book. Pinki’s little sister Minnie was on her lap and both of them were forced to stare blankly at the wall till Autumn left or went to sleep. Autumn’s bookmark fell off the side off the bed and Autumn bent over the side of the bed to get it. Minnie twitched uncomfortably as Autumn came back up and  nestled back into her spot and continued to read. Pinki caught one of Autumn’s barbies giving her a wink, a wave, and a thumbs up.
“What, is Alayna doing!” Pinki thought, “Oh! The code, But, what did Alayna say?”
Pinki thought though the code hurriedly.  “A wink, means... help, a wave means... Tonight  But...  thumbs up?”  Autumn stuck her bookmark back into the book and left the room closing the door behind her. Pinki and Minnie stood for a few moments and stretched. Alayna jumped from the dresser and onto bed and went up to Pinki and Minnie,
“Oh, Pinki! I need your help!” Alayna rushed, “I know that you're great detective, and I would like to hire you, I will tell you all about it tonight. Will you do it?”
“I’ll decide after I hear about your case,” Pinki replied.
“Thank you,” Alayna said gratefully.
Alayna climbed back up on the dresser and sat down, rubbing the side of her white cowgirl boots looking nervous. Night soon came and Autumn pulled on some sweatpants and dived in bed. She  bent down to grab something, a book. A silent “Ugh!” went  through the room, they all knew that when Autumn picked up a book before she went to bed she would be reading late. But luckily Autumn set the book aside at 9:52 and flicked off the light. Pinki watched her closely and she fell asleep at precisely 10:15. The stuffed animals and the dolls left their places and walked around the house.
Alayna met them on the living room couch, but she was with someone else, a headless barbie!  Alayna smiled at Pinki who sat by them.
“Hello Pinki,” Alayna said her broken hand on the headless barbies shoulder.
“Alayna,” Pinki replied cheerfully, “tell me about the case you told me you had.”
Alayna sniffled, produced a kleenex and blew her nose on it.
“Y-you see my friend here,” Alayna said in a weepy voice, “she was g-going to see S-snowball in Amber’s room a-and...” Alayna muffled a teary wail with her tissue and blew her nose again. The headless barbie started to look impatient and waved her hand inviting Alayna to go on.
“A-and, Snowball w-was moved the t-top of the b-b-bookcase,  she c-c-climbed all the w-way to the t-top and...”  Alayna continued then bust out in a loud sob.
“Go on,” Pinki said irritated by Alayna’s lack of important information.
“S-s-somebody p- p-pushed her off the sh-shelf and her head...” Alayna sobbed heavily in her kleenex.
“Is this true?” Pinki asked Headless Barbie.
Headless Barbie’s neck moved slightly, but Pinki  could not distinguish a nod or a  shake.
“Raise your left hand for no and raise your right for yes,” Pinki added seeing the headless barbie’s troubles.
She rose her right hand! Pinki was horrified.
“Who would do such a thing!” Pinki exclaimed.
Alayna dried her eyes and put the tissue  back into her pocket and managed to say, “S-s-someone in Amber’s r-room had to have d-d-one it, n-no one else would have known that she was t-there the n-night that she l-l-lost her head,” before she burst out in sobs.
Pinki pondered over the case, it was interesting and it sounded dangerous, all of the cases that she had solved where missing person. Could she do it?  And if she didn’t do it then their would be a killer on the loose. And what if the stuffed animal or doll damaged more barbies or a stuffed animals,  Autumn and Amber would start to notice and the secret life  of dolls might be uncovered!
“Alayna,” Pinki said over Alayna’s wails, “I’ll take the case.”
“Oh! T-thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” Alayna cried. “P-please take care when you are s-solving this case!  I’d hate to s-see you get hurt!”
“Your welcome, and I’ll try to not get hurt. But I’ll have to tread very carefully on this case anyways,” Pinki replied.
Headless Barbie was doing what looked like a happy dance.
Pinki hugged both the barbies and hurried off the couch to Amber’s door she opened the door quietly and a green dragon sat  by the door.
“And how may I help you?” It said in a dry bland voice.
“I’m here to visit Snowball, I’m a friend of his,” Pinki said confidently.
“Really!?” the dragon said looking at me doubtfully, “What’s your name? I’m going to see if he confirms that.”
“Pinki Sara.”
The dragon flew up to the top and Pinki could hear Snowball’s light and cheerful voice and the dragons gruff one. The dragon returned and helped Pinki to the top.
“Hey Pinki! Come sit,  I haven’t heard from you for a long while.” Snowball invited,  “And it’s just like Emrys (Em-er-ris) to hold you up.”
“Hello, Snowball, I’d be delighted.  Do you remember a barbie with a ballerina  outfit coming through here,” Pinki replied getting right to the point.
“Yes, I recall that I had a bad cold due to all the dust up here, and she climbed up on my shelf and took care of me till I was better. She was very sweet, she said that she wished that she was the Nurse Barbie or the Doctor Barbie, she said that she was never a good ballerina,”  Snowball said softly.
“Really?” Pinki said, “Do you remember what she looked like or what her name was?”
“Yes, and she had short blond hair and pale skin, she had a red crayon mark on her left ear if  I can remember correctly.  I also remember that most of her clothing is painted on, she had a pink tutu, and a pink rhinestone in her leotard. Does that help any?” Snowball asked.
“Yes, it does.” Pinki replied, “Did she fall off the bookshelf at anytime?”
“Oh! She did, that was a very traumatic time for me. I saw something push her over the edge, I didn’t see what or who though. All I saw is that it was small and brown there was something red on it it might’ve been a bow, a piece of paper, or the reflection of the alarm clock,” Snowball said, “And when she hit the ground h-h-her head popped off and rolled away we tried to look for but it was lost forever.”

(Omigosh that is soooo creepy I'm sorry for inflicting you with this!)

Snowball started to sob lightly.
“Let me get you some tea,” Pinki offered.
“That would be great. Thank you,” Snowball sniffled, “There's a teapot over there and I have a few tea bags by the picture frame.”
“Okay,” Pinki said collecting the teapot and the tea bags and preparing the tea. Pinki returned to Snowball with two steaming tea cups and handed him one.
“Thank you,” Snowball said sipping, “I grew close to her. That seems silly though, I don’t even remember her name.”
“You weren’t silly,” Pinki said, “Just forgetful. It happens to everybody.”
“But for some reason, I don’t remember her ever telling me. You’d think she would, she took care of me for a week and came back regularly. I had a cold!”
“She was obviously a very good nurse,” Pinki remarked setting her tea cup on its saucer.
“Yes,” Snowball muttered.
Pinki looked over the shelf at the alarm clock. 2:08 she’d need to go soon or Minnie would get worried. But she hated to leave Snowball in this state.
“I hate to leave you, but its getting a little late. And the others will get worried.”
“Its okay,”  Snowball said drying his eyes and gulping down the last of the tea and smiling, “I’ll live!”
Pinki smiled, “Well I’ll drop by sometime soon.”
“All right. I’ll look forward to that, I don’t usually have a lot of visitors and probably even less after what happened with my little nurse.”
“You're most likely right,” Pinki agreed nodding.
“G’bye!” Pinki called dropping down the side of the bookshelf on to Amber’s jewelry box. Emrys opened the door for Pinki and thanked her for her visit.
Pinki walked over to Autumn’s door and thought over all the complicated twists and turns in the new case. Headless Barbie loved to take care of people, so she must have been a factory switch. They didn’t to give her the ballerina spirit, and gave her a nurse or a doctor one. Some nurse barbie out there wants to be a ballerina. (WHAT?????) This made Pinki giggle, she slid her door pass under the door and it was opened.
As soon as Pinki stepped into the room Alayna ran up to her and hugged her as usual she was crying you see barbies are odd dolls. They are tall, have very slender bodies and very small feet, they always wear heels (their feet will fit no other shoe) and when they are worried, scared, happy, or angry they cry. Always.
“Oh Pinki I was w-worried sick! I knew that you w-would try to get some c-clues tonight, but, Its t-two o’clock! I was very scared that the k-k-killer hurt you t-too!” Alayna sobbed, “Oh I’m s-so glad to see t-that you’re okay!”
Minnie came up behind Alayna and peeled her off Pinki and patted Alayna’s back and took her over to a considerably large book and they sat down Alayna was finally calming down when they heard Autumn groan, they looked at the clock. It was only 2:23 and Autumn was yawning. The animals and dolls rushed to  their places as Autumn swung her feet to the floor!

OMIGOSH! I can NOT stop laughing! I just read this through again and.... Oh goodness! So many weeping dolls! The code! Since when does a wink mean 'help!' I can't even type! Until later!

Things everyone can learn from their household pets

  •  Celebrate the little things. When you get home your dog is so happy to see you there will be leaping and slobber and all that great doggy stuff. Your cat, maybe not, but they will celebrate food. Life is hard so celebrating the little things can make a day happy.

  • That just being with someone is better than anyone's words. When hard things happen just being by someones side can be better than any words ever known to man.

  • Brain size doesn't define. Sure my cat has a smaller brain than mine and yours, but actually the surface folding and brain structure is far more important than the size of the brain. Cat's actually have similar Cerebral Cortex to humans. The Cerebral Cortex is the part of the brain that processes memory and learning, meaning they still remember when they where just a few months old.  Interesting right. Will you have more respect for your cat now? Maybe.
  • You can get along with that person the annoys the jellybeans out of you, there are many pets that will never get along just because of where they lay on the food chain. I'm gonna be honest. But there are others that could get along if you so wanted to.

One of nature's fiercest cats isn't supposed to fall for a good-natured Golden Retriever. Polar bears aren't supposed to play with Eskimo dogs.
But sometimes, friendships are forged under the most unusual circumstances.
On Friday, Jan. 14 at 5 p.m., the National Geographic Channel will air its latest version of its "Unlikely Animal Friends" special, but if you want a look at some of the friendships they feature (as well as a look back at some of the pairs included in the channel's first animal odd couples show), check out the below.

Leopard Cub and Dog Forge Friendship

She is a baby leopard, he is a Golden Retriever. You might think that the cat and the dog would be at each other's throats but, instead, they're inseparable friends.
They met at Glen Afric, a reserve in South Africa, when Jenny and John Booker, professional animal wranglers, adopted the tiny leopard cub, named Salati.
In the National Geographic special, the Bookers said that the two animals fell for each other the instant they met.
Their then 2-year-old dog Tommy licked Salati and treated her like a sister within hours of meeting her. The pair walk together several times a week and play together like fast friends.
But as they grow older and Salati becomes more powerful, their owners worry that the animals' instincts will overpower their bond.
"My worry now is, Would she go for Tommy? It's a big question," said Jenny Booker. "As big of friends as they are, I still believe that animals are 80 percent instinct.
But her husband said that though nature may pull them apart, their bond will last.
"I don't believe that she'll ever lose that bond with Tommy," John Booker said.

Sorry for the super quick post. I have a lot to do today. Until later!

Wreck It Wednesday #2

Today is Wednesday if you haven't noticed and today I will be doing another post on my new Wreck This Journal. I have done so much that it is hard to just pick a few! Anyways!

This is the; Tear Strips Rip It Up page
I wanted to do a page that is book related this is how I decided to do it I drew the spines of my favorite books

 The book are:
The Clue in The Old Album (Carolyn Keene), The Hunger Games (Suzanne Collins), Green Eggs and Ham (Dr. Suess), Divergent (Veronica Roth), The BFG (Ronald Dahl).

This is the; Poke Holes In This Page Using A Pencil page.

^^ That page is the back of the coffee page
it is not dirt, but with this book no telling!

This is the; Pour, Spill, Fling, Your Coffee HERE page

This is the Fill This Page With Circles page
That took FOREVER!

I didn't know how to decorate this page so I thought of what you couldn't hold with out your hands so I did snow cones on the page.

This is the Do a Really Ugly Drawing (Use Ugly Subject matter such as Gum, Poo, Dead Things, a Badly Drawn Bird, Mold, Barf, Crud.)
I didn't really want to make this page nasty like in the past Wreck This Journal I did I wanted to make it a little cooler.
So I decided to narrow it down to two things, I did Barf and Crud. I did this Gravity Falls page because of the first show, Tourist Trapped. When Dipper and Mabel Pines arrive to spend the summer break at the remote town Gravity Falls with they're Gruncle (Great Uncle) Stan.
Mabel's new Boyfriend turns out to be a bunch of gnomes, so her brother Dipper has to come rescue her from being a gnome queen. Long story short one of the gnomes ends up barfing a rainbow.

I hope everyone enjoyed today's post, Until Later!

8 Things That They Didn't Tell You About Learning a Musical Instrument

  • Playing a string instrument? Calluses. You will never feel a thing with your fingertips ever again, except pain. There will be pain.

  • If you don't practice 15 minutes or more daily you can and will sound like a dying cow. Not majestic. Just not majestic.

DISHONOR ON YOU DISHONOR ON YOUR COW!

  • You won't be an instant prodigy. Yeah, I know we aren't a pack of instant noodles but this is what I thought though. I though I would go from Mary Had a Little Lamb to Eleanor Rigby in two days.

  • That reading music is like a whole other language! My burritos are still falling apart!

  • Scales are NOT fun at all, but they are totally necessary. Just tough through it. If Mittens here can do it so can you!

  • There will always be someone that its better at you at instrument it happens, you just have to move on you will get there if you practice hard enough.

  • So many rules, too many rules.(These rules are from a 1892 Issue of The Strad)

Violin Don’ts
By George Brayley
Don’t let the rosin accumulate on your violin, as there is no tone in rosin; it stops up the pores of the wood, and, moreover, looks slovenly.
Don’t put the bow away in the case without unloosening the hair. If it is kept tightened, it will soon be useless.
Don’t hang your violin on your music-stand when you have finished playing a piece, as it is liable to fall

Don’t let the rosin accumulate on your violin, as there is no tone in rosin; it stops up the pores of the wood, and, moreover, looks slovenly.
Don’t put the bow away in the case without unloosening the hair. If it is kept tightened, it will soon be useless.
Don’t hang your violin on your music-stand when you have finished playing a piece, as it is liable to fall and be broken.
Don’t break the hair off of your bow when one breaks; cut it at each end. You are liable to pull the hair out of the bow if you pull it to break it.
Don’t try to play in public what you cannot do well at home.
Don’t let the D string remain on your violin too long; remove it at least every two months, as it gets dry and hard, making the tone rough.
Don’t keep turning the pegs in tuning till the bridge falls down. Stop and look across the violin to see if it is straight. When the bridge falls it is liable to break.
Don’t let the neck of your violin hang down when you are playing and lay your head on it. It looks as if you were going to sleep. Hold the violin up.
Don’t let jealousy arise in the orchestra, and talk about one another behind their backs. It will soon demoralize the whole organisation.
Don’t write to the editor of a musical paper, or any one, asking the value of a violin that has a label on the inside with an old name and date printed on it, as he can tell nothing about it. A violin is valued for its tone and workmanship, and those labels are printed the same as circulars and pasted in the violin, to suggest that the instrument was made after the model of that maker. The genuine instruments are a rarity and their existence and whereabouts are generally known to connoisseurs.
Don’t put your violin away without wiping it dry all over with a cloth or chamois skin, as it preserves the instrument and saves strings. Don’t lay your violin down on its side by your chair during intermission of playing. Someone, not seeing it, may, in walking about, kick it to pieces. Better hold it, or put it in its case, which you can have near you.
Don’t let your music get all scattered and torn, when you can get at a store brown wrapping-paper to cover it. Music costs money.
Don’t get impatient with a pupil in giving a lesson. Remember you were not able to do much better yourself once.
Don’t have your strings of unequal size – the D string very large and the E string small. Get them of average size throughout by a string gauge, and when you have them right, keep them so. If you have no string gauge, save a piece of old string for your guide.
Don’t think you know all there is about the violin, for that height has never been reached yet.
Don’t stamp on the floor with your foot to keep the time; it is a disagreeable noise. Moving the right foot in your boot will answer all the purpose.
Don’t spit on the pegs of your violin to make them stick. Rub some chalk on them. If they are fitted and still slip badly, put a little rosin on them.
Don’t let any of the strings down when you are done playing, as it puts the violin out of order, and you break strings quicker.
Don’t think any kind of playing will do for some people, for your carelessness will soon be found out, engagements will be lost, and you will wonder why. Do your best at all times.
Don’t wind your strings around the neck of your violin; cut them the right length, and put the portions not wanted in a box in your case. They dry up quickly when exposed.
Don’t come to rehearsal at quarter-past eight, when eight o’clock is the hour given, unless a very satisfactory reason is shown. Be prompt, and people will learn to depend on you.
Don’t put a good violin in a damp place, as it will hurt it very much, and is apt to come unglued.
Don’t keep constantly shifting the bridge and sound post, when they have been put in their place properly. The slightest change makes a difference in the tone of the violin.
Don’t let your violin lie around on tables and other places, as it shows carelessness. Put it away in its case when you are done with it.
Don’t think you can neglect exercises and play the violin well; their study enables you to master your instrument.

  • Is way too easy to give up. Wayyyyyyyyy too easy to give up

But you know what, playing an instrument is a awesome commitment. And makes hours of entertainment and it is proven that it increases the capacity of you memory!
Also learning to play an instrument help you learn time management and organization skills. It also enhances your coordination and mathematical ability. And helps sharpen concentration, discipline, listening skills and just give you an over all sense of achievement. Also the breathing exercises you do when playing certain instruments can help respiratory problems.

I hope that you guys enjoyed today's post. Until Later!

Continue rainbow and add you own page numbers I drew a bunch of numbers and numbered the pages

It says Crack The Spine, I did that and drew these tree branch like cracks, The other one is leave this page blank of purpuse but that is a no can do thing in my book so, I wrote Nope, sorry in the corner of the page.

Draw fat lines and thin.

Stand here wipe your feet fingers jump up and down. I had plans with the finger prints page so I just made this a finger prints page I got my finger print, my cats, my sisters and my Mom and Dad's

This is what I did with the finger print one I drew the old mans house from the movie Up and use my fingerprints to create the balloons I love this page.

This one is so far my absolute favorite! It is the color this entire page page. I LOVE THIS PAGE SOOOOOOO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has a bending rainbow with the word AWESOME come of the side with checkered pattern behind. It has a city with the Batman Symbol peeking out behind it. It has some curly oceany things coming out of the base of the rainbow and going into a little group of clouds with the cutest faces. Then there is another fat unicorn shooting a rainbow out its horn. If someone asks you to define me show them this picture.
