Snowy Wednesday

Hey guys, today is Wednesday so i SHOULD  be showing you a craft but it is too cold to go out side and take good pictures so I'm gonna chat with my peoples.

It is so cold today, that when I woke up I was like,

but then I realized it was my Mom and I was like

AND OH MY GOSH IT'S SNOWING!!!!!!!!!! I snapped a picture of my porch through the window looky!!!!

Sorry you had to see my six year old self there for a second...*Clears throat*

This week my sisters fiancee is in town for her birthday. I actually haven't seen him yet this week, Amber told me not to make it so hard on him but if I didn't I would be doing my job as the adorable little sister. I must do my duty of sitting in between them and smacking their hands when they touch each other. It's my duty as a smaller sibling to be as annoying as humanly possible.

If you are the littlest of your siblings give me a like by hitting the g+1 button or comment down below with your funniest sibling story!

( Aunt Stephanie if you're reading make sure that Uncle Jim doesn't read over you shoulder, he can continue at the end :D )

My sister is turning 19 this week. This is the weirdest thing, I feel that it was just yesterday I was bribing her to play Barbies with me and she was making me clean my side of the room. Because her friends where coming over and my side of the room was according to her, 'a embarrassment to her and the rest of humanity'.

When we got our own rooms  I would sneak into her room and tried to make her accidentally blurt out the answer to my math work problems. (Oops, my Mom reads these.....)

When we would stay up to midnight just talking and laughing, looking up pictures of silly cats. When we would play in the creek and run around on the farm.

We have played computer games together, 18 Nancy Drew games together over the years, that's what up!

One time Amber told me that fairies lived down at the creek, (I was obsessed with Tinker Bell) and she wrote letters from a fairy named Zanna.  Then one day the letters stopped coming and I thought that Zanna had like died. And Amber decided that she would tell me that she was the one writing the letters and that she was too busy to write them anymore that was the happiest/saddest memory I have of my young childhood.

Anyways, no matter what happened in my life I knew I had a awesome sister to make me feel less like a idiot, and I hope that she feels the same way about me. I can't describe how awesome of a sister she is. And I can't believe that she is all grown up and that she is a adult????????
She is getting married in, 3 months. 3 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My sisters are such overachievers thinking that they have to run out of the house and get married at like 18 and have adorable little children. Turning all the Aunts and Uncles into GREAT Aunts and Uncles and all the Mom and Dads into Grandmas and Grandpas and all the sisters and brothers into Aunts and Uncles. I wanted to honor the sweetest person on the planet who looks and acts too much like Mabel Pines from Gravity Falls, my awesome big sister Amber.

(Uncle Jim can come back now)

It's been a odd week freezing cold and dreary. It's so hard to leave the comfy blankets! My kitties have taken advantage of all the heaters basking in the heat and glaring at you when the sit down next to them to warm up!
Talking about cats their like little portable heaters adorable portable heaters :) I put them in the hoods of my hoodies so they just ride around on my back like little emperors.

Love you guys! Until later!  Have a great week!

  1. It is soooo cold!!!!! Love your blog post!!!

I am the youngest of 6 and the only girl. So I don't have any stories with sisters but I laughed at what popped into my head. When I was about 6 years old, I went to the old old old fashioned gas station with my father one afternoon. Mr. Pete, a tall very slim gentleman came out of the work area. He had on overalls, gum boots, khaki shirt, and a duck bill cap. The area looked more like a barn with a gas pump. Dad got out of the truck and was talking to Mr. Pete while he was pumping gas. Mr. Pete's granddaughter came out to talk to me. She was older than me by about 3 or 4 years. All she was talking about was my middle brother. "Oh, he is the cutest "thang"; well, does he ever say anything about me; does he think I'm cute"? Well, I really didn't know what to say, sooooooo......I just told her exactly what I had over heard him saying about her, (and it wasn't pretty, he DID NOT feel the same way about her) sooooo, I just blurted it out, ugly words and all, and she went screaming and running back into the house and she screamed and carried on for I don't know how long. My father came running to the truck and said "what did you do to her?" Well, I didn't know what I had done, I really didn't. By that time I was crying because I already knew I was in big time trouble myself. We went home and and he dragged me inside and demanded to know what I done to her. My mother intervened and started trying to find out what happened. So, I told her that Mr' Pete's granddaughter was asking me about #3 brother and then she said what did you say? I told her and she almost cracked up, but she had to maintain herself, but she did. Well, the worst (funniest) part about this is that my father loaded up my #3 brother and took him back down to Mr. Pete's and made him apologize to his granddaughter. hahahahaha I crack up every time I think about that. My mother told me I should not tell everything I hear, especially stuff I accidentally overhear! hahahahaha Be careful what you say, you never know who's listening and who's gonna tell!

So, that is my funny brother story. hehehe shhhhhh, don't tell anyone. hehehehe hugs, Patty
